TechFlow News, January 7th: According to an official social media disclosure from IPOR Fusion, its USDC Fusion Optimizer was hacked on the Arbitrum network, resulting in a loss of approximately $336,000 USDC. After receiving security alerts from Hexagate and Blockaid on January 6th, the IPOR team promptly launched an investigation, confirming that the attack targeted a specific old Fusion fund pool.
This attack only affected a specifically configured fund pool, with the loss amounting to less than 1% of the total funds in the Fusion protocol. The IPOR team is collaborating with SEAL and related security agencies to track and attempt to recover the funds. The IPOR decentralized autonomous organization will cover the funding gap from its treasury to ensure the safety of all affected users' funds. The official emphasized that other Fusion fund pools remain unaffected.
