TechFlow news, December 15 — According to Dlnews, Mike McGlone, senior commodities strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence, warned that Bitcoin's price faces a potential 88% crash down to $10,000, which he expects to reach by 2026.
McGlone stated on LinkedIn that Bitcoin's breakout above $100,000 may have triggered a cycle leading to a pullback toward $10,000. He described the current environment as a "post-inflationary deflation" period, where a reversal in wealth creation will drive the next recession, primarily fueled by the collapse of highly speculative, infinitely supplied digital assets.
Bitcoin is currently trading around $90,000, down 30% from its all-time high of $126,000 reached in October.
