TechFlow news, December 10: According to Financefeeds, the Indian government is significantly enhancing cryptocurrency enforcement training to combat increasingly sophisticated crypto-related financial crimes. The training involves multiple agencies including the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), focusing on blockchain forensics, on-chain analysis, seizure of crypto assets, and identification of wallet addresses.
This initiative directly responds to the mandatory registration requirement for Virtual Digital Asset Service Providers (VDASPs) with FIU-IND, as well as India's shift from regulatory ambiguity toward structured oversight. The training aims to equip law enforcement personnel with the capabilities to trace, seize, and prosecute crimes involving Virtual Digital Assets (VDA).
