TechFlow, Dec 4 — According to Cointelegraph, Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX released an annual report showing that users are shifting from the mindset of "cryptocurrency equals Bitcoin" toward more diversified investment portfolios.
Data indicates that users now hold an average of about five tokens, a significant increase from 2-3 in 2022. In portfolio allocation, Layer-1 blockchain assets account for 43.3%, Bitcoin 26.5%, and meme coins 11.8%. The average user age is 32, with millennials dominating over Gen Z.
CoinDCX co-founder Sumit Gupta said cryptocurrency has become a natural extension of traditional investing. The report also shows female user participation doubled year-on-year, with investment scope expanding to other tokens such as Solana and Sui.
