TechFlow news, November 28 — According to official announcements, Bitget will donate a total of HK$12 million to Hong Kong in support of emergency relief efforts, assistance for affected families, and post-disaster reconstruction following the Hung Fuk Court fire. The donation will be received and executed by three reputable local charitable organizations:
Donation allocation:
Yan Chai Hospital, Hong Kong — HK$5 million, to assist with emergency medical support, treatment costs for the injured, and providing essential health and rehabilitation support for affected families.
The Salvation Army, Hong Kong — HK$3.5 million, to provide financial aid, temporary housing, daily necessities, and services related to basic living reconstruction after the disaster, helping affected families resume normal life as soon as possible.
Po Leung Kuk, Hong Kong — HK$3.5 million, for community support, psychological counseling, family assistance, and follow-up social work related to the aftermath of the fire, helping affected residents through the transitional period.
Bitget stated that every dollar donated will be used transparently, promptly, and effectively. Through this donation, they aim to collaborate with local charitable organizations to deliver timely and practical support to affected residents, assisting the community in rebuilding and restoring normal life as quickly as possible.
