TechFlow news, November 28 — According to Cointelegraph, blockchain data shows that the government of the Kingdom of Bhutan has staked 320 ETH, worth approximately $970,000, through staking service provider Figment.
Figment is a staking service provider that helps large investors and institutions stake digital assets across multiple blockchains and earn rewards. In October this year, Bhutan began migrating its sovereign digital identity system from Polygon to Ethereum, with the full migration expected to be completed by early 2026. Since 2019, Bhutan has been using hydropower resources to mine and accumulate Bitcoin, and currently holds around 6,154 BTC, valued at over $562 million.
