TechFlow news, November 19 — According to Decrypt, U.S. Republican Congressman Brandon Gill has further increased his holdings in Bitcoin and related ETFs, based on a recent transaction report filed on November 18. The report shows that this staunch ally of President Trump purchased Bitcoin worth $100,000–$250,000 on October 20, followed by an additional $15,000–$50,000 in BlackRock's Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) nine days later.
Since taking office in January this year, Gill has accumulated up to $2.6 million in Bitcoin and $150,000 in IBIT shares. Notably, government transparency organization OpenSecrets指出 that Gill failed to disclose certain early transactions within the 45-day window required by federal law, violating the STOCK Act.
