TechFlow news, November 18 — According to Decrypt, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin directly criticized Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX exchange at the Argentina Devconnect conference, calling it the complete opposite of Ethereum's principles. Buterin emphasized that Ethereum, as a decentralized and "don't be evil" community, stands in stark contrast to the centralized nature of FTX. He pointed out that the core reason for FTX's failure lies in its centralization, demanding blind public trust without transparency, whereas Ethereum development proceeds through open community scrutiny. This statement comes as Ethereum's price has fallen below $3,000, down 39% from its nearly $5,000 high in August.
