TechFlow, on November 1, according to the Hangzhou Release official account, recently some elementary school students playing a game called "Eggy Party" encountered fraud. A criminal gang impersonated "police officers," falsely claiming that their game accounts were being used by criminals, and lured victims into "cooperating with investigations" and transferring money, with some amounts reaching tens of thousands of yuan.
The Fuyang District People's Procuratorate in Hangzhou charged that the investigation found the fraud gang quickly converted the illicit funds into cryptocurrency and then laundered the money through blockchain transfers. Prosecutors warn that any individual claiming to be from a law enforcement agency and requesting transfers to所谓 "safe accounts" is committing fraud, and parents should strengthen anti-fraud education for minors.
