TechFlow news, October 27 — According to CoinDesk, ClearBank announced plans to join the Circle Payment Network (CPN), connecting its cloud-native banking platform with Circle's blockchain infrastructure to accelerate cross-border payments and offer regulated stablecoin services. As a regulated provider within the UK payment system, ClearBank will be among the first European banks to integrate with CPN, enabling customers to transfer funds globally at near-instant speed while maintaining regulatory transparency. The collaboration focuses on expanding access to the Circle Mint platform, which allows financial institutions to mint and redeem fully reserved USDC and EURC stablecoins compliant with Europe’s new Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations. Both parties will also explore new use cases, including stablecoin-based financial services and tokenized asset settlements.
