TechFlow news, October 20 — According to Techinasia, federal judge Mark Pittman recently ruled that the antitrust lawsuit filed by Elon Musk's X and xAI against Apple and OpenAI will continue to be heard in Fort Worth, Texas. Despite the companies having minimal connections to the region, the judge noted that the defendants failed to file a motion to change the venue before the deadline.
The lawsuit was filed in August 2025, alleging that Apple and OpenAI conspired to maintain a monopoly in the AI market. The case is scheduled to proceed through October 2026, and Apple and OpenAI have already submitted motions to dismiss the case by the end of September.
