TechFlow news, October 14 — According to Cointelegraph, Binance's 2018 donation of approximately $200,000 worth of cryptocurrency (30,644 BNB) to a Maltese cancer charity is now valued at around $37 million due to market price increases, but the funds have yet to be claimed. Reports indicate a dispute between Binance and the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF) over patient information verification has caused a stalemate in fund disbursement. Binance insists on transferring donations directly to end beneficiaries to ensure transparency, while MCCF has refused to provide the patient data requested by Binance. Since discussions on a resolution in 2021, no further progress has been made.
