TechFlow, October 2 — SlowMist YuXian posted on X platform explaining the details of the recent Pendle whale hack. According to reports, Pendle has confirmed that its protocol was not compromised. Analysis of the incident revealed that the whale had created a contract called onMorphoFlashLoan that anyone could invoke. The whale had also delegated their position to this contract. The attacker exploited this by calling the whale’s onMorphoFlashLoan function, subsequently carrying out attacks on the whale's AAVE and Pendle holdings, resulting in losses exceeding $1.3 million.
