Solana AI Hackathon Remains Hot: Reviewing Notable Launched Projects
A total of 6, please DYOR.
By: TechFlow

Many well-known projects in the market have seen significant gains—where will the next hot AI Agent token emerge?
To answer this question, you should look for projects with growing anticipation but which haven't yet been fully valued by the market.
The AI hackathon recently launched by Solana might be a great hunting ground for such hidden gems. Backed and spotlighted by both the Solana Foundation and ai16zdao, any project emerging from this event is likely to attract serious market attention.
On December 11 last year, Solana officially announced the launch of its first AI hackathon, featuring a total prize pool exceeding $185,000 to incentivize developer participation.
In just about half a month since then, over 400 projects have already submitted their entries—could any of them become breakout alphas?
TechFlow has aggregated information on several discussed projects that already have tokens, compiling the list below.
1. $SOLENG (SOLENG): An AI agent auditing code submissions from hackathon projects
Market Cap: $18M
24h Change: +12%
Contract Address (CA):
2wUGjvMqXusgfzYP3Vj149bSM9MwTPLS4maxkdGfpump

If you treat the Solana AI Hackathon as a distinct theme or narrative, then the projects most aligned with it are more likely to be seen as “canonical.”
From the judges’ perspective, manually reviewing over 400 submissions would clearly be time-consuming and labor-intensive. This is where an AI agent called SOLENG comes in—it helps automatically review code submissions and provides preliminary evaluation feedback.

Of course, robotic review alone isn’t comprehensive, but having SOLENG act as a “juror” to filter out obvious errors upfront is certainly a viable approach.
The project has also published its GitHub repository, showing SOLENG’s audit results and comments on each hackathon submission—making it highly relevant to the hackathon narrative.
Beyond general pros and cons, SOLENG even checks for spelling mistakes in the code and suggests corrections.
GitHub:
https://github.com/lostgirldev/solana-hackathon-judge
The developer behind SOLENG goes by Lost Girl Dev—a name that intriguingly matches SOLENG’s virtual female avatar. Notably, this dev has gained attention from the official ai16z account and Shaw, who has publicly interacted with her on X.

As shown above, SOLENG's market cap is gradually rising within the AUM managed by ai16zdao.
While the effectiveness of SOLENG’s code reviews still awaits deeper technical assessment, simply employing an AI agent as a judge—and receiving official backing—is enough to spark market interest.
Riding the hackathon hype, SOLENG has secured visibility and exposure. But clearly, an agent like this can do much more than serve as a one-time judge—broader capabilities may soon follow.
2. $TONY (BigTonyXBT): Multi-chain player—an AI trading agent embedded in Hyperliquid and Allora Network
Market Cap: $4.7M
CA:
0xB22a793a81ff5b6Ad37F40d5FE1E0AC4184d52F3
24h Change: +66%

Although themed around Solana, the hackathon also includes cross-ecosystem participants.
For example, BigTonyXBT is an AI agent capable of integrating into Hyperliquid—a currently trending platform—as a trading agent, and similarly operating within Allora Network, a blockchain dedicated to AI agents.
(For more on Allora Network, see TechFlow’s previous article: Decoding the Allora Whitepaper: A Self-Improving Decentralized AI Network)
No matter the ecosystem, BigTonyXBT performs the same core functions: executing automated trading strategies on DEXs or trading platforms, including dollar-cost averaging (DCA), limit orders, automatic profit-taking, stop-loss triggers, etc.

A key reason for its multi-chain presence lies in its integration with Cod3x (200K followers on X), a well-known product ecosystem enabling users to discover, build, and automate on-chain financial strategies. Its Agentic Interface allows complex operations to be executed using simple intent-based commands.
Cod3x is already a partner of @AlloraNetwork, and also serves as the UX layer for @HyperliquidX, making integration into both systems natural.
Though TONY is currently deployed on Base, its participation in the Solana AI Hackathon signals potential expansion into new ecosystems.
Interestingly, BigTonyXBT also features its own launchpad, Make.fun, which enables rapid deployment of various AI agents or meme tokens.

With strong backing and broad functionality, BigTonyXBT resembles a true multi-chain athlete.
However, given its small market cap, it remains to be seen whether it will achieve comprehensive success or spread itself too thin.
3. $PPCoin (Project Plutus): Autonomous trading powered by real-time research and price data
Market Cap: $13M
CA:
76PsEyML7UV9uiBDWMdG3itRRuupDuRs6nNpjNBpump
24h Change: +21%

Project Plutus is another AI agent focused on trading. Its native token, PPCoin, was launched on Solana via Pumpfun.
The project aims to maximize user profits while freeing them from constant chart monitoring and complex financial operations.
This sounds similar to what aixbt does. However, Project Plutus argues that despite aixbt’s solid research, it lacks actual autonomous execution—a critical missing piece.

So Project Plutus proposes combining a research agent (similar to aixbt) with real-time autonomous trading execution through a funded wallet (with AUM for user investment and withdrawal). The goal is to enable:
-
Automated trading strategies
-
Optimized portfolio management
-
Defined financial goals with AI agents delivering results
Recent tweets suggest additional features in development, such as allowing the agent to assess GitHub code quality of other projects—adding more analytical dimensions.
Moreover, PPCoin isn’t purely a meme token. Holding over 5,000,000 $PPCOIN unlocks advanced analytical features, similar to how staking tokens grants access to premium functions on platforms like Cookie.
This adds utility and consumption mechanisms to the token.
Still, the project remains very early stage. Interested users can refer to the whitepaper for further design details.
4. $THE1 (the1aiagent): Tracking narrative spread and monitoring price performance
Market Cap: $4.7M
CA:
BhmEQeiFd8Cu5fB6nmxm9rUsQj9Pu35X96RKv6GKtRJU
24h Change: +114%

@the1aiagent functions essentially as a predictive agent, tracking the spread of narratives (or mentions of tokens/KOLs) and monitoring their performance.
Currently, the agent is not live yet. The team regularly posts prototypes and development progress on X, including visualizations comparing post-KOL-mention price surges across different tokens.
Some notable planned features include:
-
Melody Graph: Tracks dynamic changes in token contracts, helping users understand price movements, volume, and other metrics for deeper market trend analysis.
-
Influencer Graph: Analyzes the influence of key opinion leaders (KOLs), enabling users to identify and evaluate individuals or groups impacting specific markets or social media discussions.
Together, these graphs offer fine-grained insights into price volatility and narrative diffusion, helping users better grasp market dynamics and trends.

Judging from posted content, the project demonstrates strong research and data visualization skills—but actual performance remains to be seen.
Competitively, similar tools already exist—Cookie being a prime example with established popularity. This means THE1 must either deliver differentiated features or implement compelling incentives (like Kaito’s KOL-driven virality) to stand out.

5. $JAIL (Jailbreakme): Hosting bounty challenges to find vulnerabilities in AI systems
Market Cap: $7M
CA:
8cNmp9T2CMQRNZhNRoeSvr57LDf1kbZ42SvgsSWfpump
24h Change: -17%

This is a familiar name—we’ve covered it before. (JailbreakMe Completes Moonshot in 10 Hours, Launches “Find AI Vulnerabilities Challenge” in Innovative Style)
Recently, with rising hackathon momentum, the project has been widely mentioned by international KOLs. JAIL saw a sharp price spike followed by a pullback.
Jailbreakme’s concept is simple: create a crowdfunding platform for prompt engineering, hosting public “challenges to exploit AI agent vulnerabilities.”

For instance, anyone who uses prompts or dialogue to trick an AI into revealing its private key or initiating a transfer could win the challenge.
Unlike random number cracking (which relies on brute-force hardware) or pure betting platforms like Polymarket, this requires actual prompt engineering skill.
While open to all, average participants may end up as cannon fodder—limiting the project’s appeal. It remains a unique and niche player within the broader on-chain AI landscape.
6. $ASYM (ASYM): Analyzing and predicting token movements on Pumpfun, with automated trading execution
Market Cap: $13M
CA:
DNMTk67urDBxEEVRx9HjVzCVu8en4Kgg5HfZy3E6pump
24h Change: +27%

ASYM monitors tokens on Pumpfun, analyzes their trends, and executes trades based on its predictive models.
According to official info, ASYM integrates machine learning models to forecast short-term price movements and has forked the ai16z framework to enable Bot-based interactions on X.

Naturally, prediction accuracy and performance are the most critical factors.
However, the project’s website appears inactive, and its X account (@ASYM) currently only shares analyses similar to aixbt.
This likely indicates the project is still under development. Its bot account @mungimungimungi regularly shares updates—such as model accuracy rates and development milestones.
Prior to a final product release, it may be worth watching both price action and social media progress reports.
Finally, due to limited time and resources, we couldn’t cover all 400+ Solana AI Hackathon submissions—some undeployed projects may also hold potential. We’ll continue tracking developments and providing further analysis.
It’s important to note that the AI agent trend is highly time-sensitive. Many early-stage projects may eventually go to zero after initial hype fades. Please DYOR—do your own research. None of the above constitutes investment advice.
