On the 28th, hedge fund Gotbit Hedge Fund announced a partnership with Realy, a leading AI project in the Solana ecosystem, becoming its official market maker and providing services including strategic partnerships, marketing consulting, and CEX expansion. Recently, Bonk's surge has brought Gotbit into the public spotlight, making it a top choice among projects seeking market-making partners. The collaboration between Gotbit Hedge and Realy has drawn significant attention within the Solana ecosystem. Notably, large whales who previously profited from meme-heavy positions on Solana began accumulating $REAL prior to Gotbit’s announcement, driving Realy’s price up nearly 20x over the past week.
As the hottest hedge fund on Solana, Gotbit played a key role in Bonk’s performance—delivering an almost 180x increase over the past two months, briefly pushing its market cap above $1 billion and ranking it third in the Meme sector.
Gotbit also supported Analos, a reverse MEME token on Solana, which surged 3,800x in less than a week.
Additionally, Knob, another reverse MEME token linked to Bonk on Solana, rose close to 100x within just one week.
However, as meme projects broadly corrected, Gotbit and the meme community have now shifted focus toward the AI project Realy—an approach markedly different from previous strategies. Unlike typical pump patterns, the price did not spike after the announcement but instead declined, allowing for extensive consolidation and accumulation at lower levels before a gradual recovery. This strategic move into the AI space may signal Gotbit’s broader ambitions: On January 28, AI-themed tokens OLAS and AGRS rose逆势, indicating a market rotation from memes to AI concepts. Meanwhile, Binance launched the AI application NFprompt and followed up by listing Sleepless AI on January 4, 2025. During a Binance AMA session with Sleepless AI’s investing institutions, several firms projected the total market cap for $AI to eventually reach between $20–50 billion.
Compared to Sleepless AI, which draws inspiration from the game "Mr. Love: Queen's Choice," Realy boasts stronger AI credentials. It recently secured funding from an OpenAI+Microsoft-affiliated fund, aligns with Wordcoin under the OpenAI concept umbrella, and enjoys backing from Meta. Its incubated AI companion project, Siya.ai, is already in internal testing and will launch NFTs and Chat-to-Earn functionality next month. Realy is led by Multicion Capital with participation from Alameda, 3AC, OKX, and Foresight Venture, positioning it as a flagship AI project in the sector.
Despite Realy’s strong institutional support and team pedigree, it carries inherent meme appeal and high narrative value: emerging from the ashes of FTX’s collapse (falling from a peak valuation of $3 billion to a low of $5 million), burdened with 20% token lockups yet still fully tradable, and drawing renewed attention due to figures like Toly.
