SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TOKEN2049, Asia's premier Web3 conference, will return to Singapore this year for its highly anticipated flagship event. Today, the organizers announced the first wave of high-profile headline sponsors and speakers. TOKEN2049 will take place at Marina Bay Sands from September 13–14, 2023, just before the 2023 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
TOKEN2049 is on track to welcome over 10,000 attendees from more than 3,500 companies, making it the largest event of its kind this year. The conference’s return to Singapore underscores Asia’s enduring significance in driving growth and innovation within the global digital asset ecosystem. Following a record-breaking edition in Singapore in 2022, TOKEN2049 will host over 300 side events and numerous networking opportunities across the city-state from September 11 to 17.
“We’re seeing unprecedented demand and broad interest—our ticket registrations, confirmed speakers, sponsors, and partners are all at record highs so far,” said Alex Fiskum, co-founder of TOKEN2049, celebrating the event’s triumphant return to Singapore. “We expect TOKEN2049 Singapore to be the biggest Web3 event of the year—an unforgettable experience that surpasses our previous events in scale, programming, and overall momentum.”
The 2023 agenda features a new lineup of global industry leaders, top decision-makers, and innovators, including hack houses, technical workshops, and NFT galleries. The event has already surpassed last year’s figures in attendance, sponsorship, and speaker commitments prior to its official September dates, with numbers continuing to climb steadily.
This year’s program covers the evolving regulatory landscape, the rise of artificial intelligence, Web3 gaming, NFTs, and the metaverse, scalability, interoperability, and more. Featured speakers include Balaji Srinivasan, investor, author, and founder of The Network State; Ethereum co-founder and ConsenSys founder Joe Lubin; Aave founder and CEO Stani Kulechov; Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz; Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal; and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. A wide array of leading industry executives will also participate.
“This marks our second year combining TOKEN2049 with the Singapore Grand Prix, where we’ll unveil a new custom livery for the McLaren OKX car. There’s no better way to kick off this exciting weekend and bring together Web3 and F1 fans. This year, through our latest ‘Rewriting Systems’ campaign, we aim to help people envision the future of Web3—and Singapore is the perfect place to showcase these efforts,” said Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer at OKX.
The diversity of this year’s headline sponsors for TOKEN2049 Singapore reflects the industry’s inherent dynamism. They include OKX, a leading spot and derivatives exchange for digital assets; Circle Internet Financial (Circle), a global fintech company; Binance, the world’s largest digital asset exchange; DWF Labs, a global digital asset market maker and multi-stage Web3 investment firm; EOS Network Foundation, an open-source blockchain technology company; Tranchess, an asset management protocol; Kucoin, a top-tier digital asset trading platform; Polkadot, the world’s largest multi-chain ecosystem; Fireblocks, an institutional-focused integrated digital asset platform; TRON DAO, a leading decentralized blockchain operating system; Bitget, the world’s largest digital asset copy trading platform; Klaytn, an open-source public blockchain; and Islamic Coin, the world’s first Sharia-compliant digital asset.
