TechFlow news, on August 27, decentralized AI data infrastructure Poseidon announced the upcoming launch of version 1 of its audio data collection application. The app aims to address AI model training bottlenecks in accents, noise, and real-world interaction scenarios by collecting high-quality voice data from users worldwide.
Users can earn Poseidon points by uploading voice data, with rewards distributed based on accuracy, clarity, uniqueness, and completeness. Additional incentives will be offered for select tasks. All data will undergo technical standard review, AI content detection, and duplicate screening, and will be recorded on the Story blockchain to ensure security and authenticity.
Poseidon emphasizes that only high-quality data will receive points; fraudulent or low-quality submissions will be banned immediately. User-submitted data will not simply "disappear into a database," but will support real-world applications—from smartphones that understand diverse accents, to self-driving cars safely responding in noisy streets, to voice assistants that truly understand user needs. Poseidon is incubated by Story and has secured a $15 million seed round led by a16z crypto.
