TechFlow news, on July 31, economist and gold supporter Peter Schiff posted on social media stating that Trump's tariff policy is effectively paid by American importers. If importers do not raise prices to offset these increased costs, their profits will be severely impacted. Regardless of the method, in the end, American consumers bear these costs. Overseas consumers will become the beneficiaries, able to purchase goods that Americans can no longer afford.
