TechFlow, on June 20, the Wyoming Stable Token Commission announced that Aptos received the highest score in the selection process for WYST, a blockchain platform for a fiat-backed stablecoin to be issued by the U.S. state government, tying for first place with Solana.
WYST will achieve cross-chain deployment via LayerZero, building a new financial infrastructure enabling multi-chain interoperability.
Aptos natively supports three U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoins, with average monthly stablecoin transaction volume exceeding $30 billion, offering sub-second finality and near-zero transaction costs (≈$0.00055).
