TechFlow news, on June 5, Cryptoquant analyst Crypto Dan posted that the current 2024-2025 cryptocurrency bull cycle shows different characteristics compared to the bull cycles of 2017 and 2021. Analysis indicates a phenomenon of "artificial market suppression" following strong rallies in the current cycle, which could be cooling measures taken by large market participants to extend the bull cycle.
Unlike the 7-8 month mid-cycle correction in 2017 and the year-long adjustment period at the beginning of 2021 caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the current cycle has experienced two sharp pullbacks after strong rallies since entering 2024. During the adjustment periods from March to November 2024 and January to April 2025, altcoins underperformed significantly, and market sentiment was notably affected.
The analysis suggests that this bull cycle is expected to conclude with an exuberant phase marked by a massive bubble.
