TechFlow news, May 24 — According to Solana's official X platform, Solana has launched the Solana Attestation Service (SAS), a new open-source, permissionless protocol designed to attest anything and serve as a trust layer for internet capital markets.
SAS enables off-chain data to be linked with any Solana wallet, allowing applications to now verify information such as KYC/proof of identity, investor accreditation, on-chain reputation, and more, while protecting user privacy through signed attestations.
The service is supported by ecosystem partners including Civic Key, Trusta Labs, Solana Identity, Range Security, Exo Solana, Polyflow PayFi, weRoam, Sumsub, and RNS Global. Developers can use a simple SDK to achieve "attest once, verify anywhere" functionality.
