TechFlow reports, on May 24, according to Medium, Yield Guild Games (YGG) has deployed its YGG token to Abstract, an Ethereum Layer 2 chain. Developed by Igloo Inc., the parent company of Pudgy Penguins, Abstract aims to simplify Web3 onboarding through consumer-first features.
Users can swap YGG tokens for other tokens such as PENGU via the Abstract Global Wallet, and the YGG/ETH trading pair will soon be available on Uniswap. Abstract’s gasless transactions, enabled by Paymasters, make transactions and gaming experiences smoother.
Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG, said launching the YGG token on Abstract is part of the effort to make Web3 more accessible to players and creators. Currently, the YGG token is available on Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Ronin, and BNB Chain, where the player base and projects have steadily grown over the past few years.
