TechFlow news, on May 5, according to Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), the ministry has temporarily revoked the Electronic System Operator Registration Certificate (TDPSE) for Worldcoin and WorldID services.
Alexander Sabar, Director General of the Directorate General for Digital Space Supervision, stated that the suspension is a measure taken in response to reports of suspicious activities related to these services. Preliminary investigations revealed that PT. Terang Bulan Abadi was not registered as an Electronic System Operator (PSE) and had not obtained the required TDPSE certificate. Furthermore, Worldcoin's services were operated under the TDPSE of another legal entity, PT. Sandina Abadi Nusantara. The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs plans to summon both companies for investigation into alleged violations of electronic system regulations.
