TechFlow reports, on March 19, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong announced the launch of the "Verified Pools" feature, aimed at bringing more assets into on-chain trading. Under U.S. law, certain assets can only be traded if specific verification requirements are met, such as being an accredited investor or completing identity verification (KYC). With "Verified Pools," users who complete the verification process can trade these restricted assets on-chain.
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said, "We want to bring more assets on-chain. Some of these assets you can only trade under U.S. law if you've gone through certain verifications—maybe you need to be an accredited investor, or pass KYC. With Verified Pools, you can get verified and trade these assets on-chain."
