TechFlow news, March 15 — According to The Block, Jeff Park, Head of Strategy at crypto asset management firm Bitwise, said that shares of Strategy are essentially "altcoins in traditional finance." Park noted that Strategy stock exhibits volatility characteristics distinct from Bitcoin, performing more similarly to altcoins, thus offering traditional finance investors exposure to the crypto market.
Strategy currently holds over $41 billion worth of Bitcoin. Park believes the company's most appealing feature for institutional investors is its diversified capital structure, including various financial instruments such as convertible bonds and preferred shares, enabling investors to engage in relative value trades and capture alpha beyond directional Bitcoin bets.
