TechFlow news, February 18 — According to Bloomberg, Altius Labs, a crypto startup co-founded by Anit Chakraborty, former software engineer at Hudson River Trading, and Annabelle Huang, former managing partner at Amber Group, has raised $11 million in pre-seed funding. The round was co-led by Founders Fund and Pantera, with participation from Archetype, Reforge, DCG, No Limit Holdings, Amber Group, and others.
Altius Labs is developing a virtual machine (VM)-agnostic modular execution stack. This technology operates independently of specific binary implementations and network designs, enabling seamless integration with any L1, L2, or application-specific chain. The team stated that this technology will help improve blockchain performance and enhance interoperability. Investment instruments include SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) and token warrants.
