TechFlow news — On February 17, KIP Protocol issued an official statement clarifying three major factual inaccuracies in the Argentine presidential office's February 16 announcement regarding the "Viva La Libertad" project.
First, KIP Protocol stated that its CEO, Julian Peh, met with President Milei only once on October 19, 2024, as an official sponsor of the Tech Forum Argentina trade exhibition. The meeting, conducted through a translator and lasting approximately 30 minutes, was limited to discussions on AI, technological development, and potential investment in Argentina. The company emphasized that Mauricio Novelli, organizer of Tech Forum, has never held any position at KIP Protocol, and no token issuance plans were discussed during the meeting.
Second, regarding the presidential meeting on January 30, 2025, KIP Protocol clearly stated it had no knowledge of the event, no company representatives attended, and it has never had any business dealings or representative relationship with Hayden Mark Davis.
Third, concerning the Libra token project, the company revealed it only became aware of the project’s existence on February 13, 2025, through Novelli, solely as a subsequently designated technical service provider for Kelsier Ventures. KIP Protocol stressed that it did not participate in the token issuance process, received no pre-issued or post-issued tokens, and derived no profits from the project. The company reiterated that as a technology solutions provider focused on AI infrastructure deployment, it does not engage in or assist other entities with token issuance activities.
