TechFlow reported on February 17 that according to Coinbase executive Conor Grogan, over the weekend the average transaction cost on Ethereum's Layer 1 (L1) network came closest to Solana's average transaction cost in history. During the period of 7 a.m. on February 15, 2025, the difference between the two was only $0.28. Notably, during the Libra project controversy, it had repeatedly occurred that the cost of token swaps on Solana was higher than that on Ethereum's L1 network.
