TechFlow reported on February 11 that Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas predicted the approval probabilities for Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) spot ETFs in 2025 to be 90% and 75%, respectively, while the approval probabilities for Solana (SOL) and XRP were estimated at 70% and 65%, respectively.
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart added that the SEC is expected to confirm the ETF application filings for XRP and Dogecoin this week, and that the SEC's cryptocurrency working group, along with Commissioner Peirce, will clarify the distinction between securities and commodities involved in ongoing litigation by the end of 2025.
