TechFlow news, on January 22, according to The Block, analysts believe Bitcoin's price could stabilize around $105,000. Part of the market calm may be attributed to Trump appointing Mark Uyeda and Caroline Pham—both crypto supporters—as acting chairs of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), respectively.
Mark Uyeda previously criticized the SEC's cryptocurrency enforcement policies under former Chair Gensler as "poorly planned" and has called for greater regulatory clarity for cryptocurrencies;
Caroline Pham has long been a staunch advocate for digital assets and in 2023 championed the creation of a "U.S. regulatory sandbox" to foster emerging technological innovation.
