TechFlow news — On December 31, BIO Protocol announced the appointment of former MakerDAO engineer Sean Bren as Head of AI Development. Sean will focus on helping BioDAO leverage AI agents throughout the research process, including lab assistants, project management, community moderation, paper review, equipment financing, and intellectual property applications.
BIO Protocol plans to integrate the elizaOS framework and explore other AI technologies such as the Prime Intellect model and the SciGraph decentralized knowledge graph. Sean previously contributed to MakerDAO’s transition from SAI to DAI and later to multi-collateral DAI, and has spent the past two years developing AI applications for Agent Protocol.
