TechFlow news — On December 5, Ripple posted on social media: "Despite some speculation, $RLUSD will not launch today. We are in final approval synchronization with the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) and will share updates as soon as possible. We remain fully committed to launching this product under NYDFS oversight and maintaining the highest regulatory standards."
Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett noted that two sources close to the process said today was originally expected to be the launch date, but the release has been delayed due to last-minute developments.
Earlier report: Ripple is set to receive approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to issue its stablecoin RLUSD, with an official launch expected on December 4, 2024.
