TechFlow news, on November 27, according to Jinshi Data, Elon Musk called for abolishing the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), highlighting a new threat facing the regulatory agency under the Trump administration—a body long targeted by Republicans and business advocacy groups. On Wednesday, Musk said on social media, "Delete CFPB; there are too many overlapping regulatory agencies."
Musk will work with the Department of Government Efficiency leading the Trump administration, which aims to reduce federal bureaucracy and government spending.
