TechFlow news, on November 18, according to the Cyvers Alerts system monitoring, Polterfinance reported a vulnerability on the Fantom chain, resulting in over $7 million worth of crypto assets being stolen. The attacker initially obtained funds via Tornado Cash on Ethereum, which were later bridged to Fantom. The team has immediately taken action:
- The platform has been suspended to contain the vulnerability.
- The bridge has been notified and has traced the involved wallets to Binance.
- An active investigation into the vulnerability is ongoing.
