TechFlow reports on November 8 that the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) Rollup SOON has announced the official launch of its public testnet. The testnet sets a performance benchmark of 30,000 TPS with a block time of just 50 milliseconds, establishing a new performance standard for Ethereum L2s.
SOON stated that decoupling SVM enables high-performance SOON Rollups to natively integrate with non-Solana L1 ecosystems, marking a significant step toward a scalable and interoperable future. All Genesis Hackathon participants are advised to migrate their projects to the new public testnet.
