The team responded within 16 minutes. M2 confirmed the incident has been fully resolved, customer funds have been restored, and the company will bear all potential losses, demonstrating its commitment to protecting customer interests. All platform services have now resumed full operations, with additional security controls implemented. M2 is actively cooperating with relevant legal and regulatory authorities to ensure thorough resolution of the incident.
Previous report, on-chain investigator ZachXBT disclosed on his personal channel that cryptocurrency exchange M2 was hacked yesterday, resulting in the theft of approximately $13 million from multiple on-chain hot wallets.
