TechFlow reports, on October 18, according to Cyvers Alerts monitoring, multiple suspicious transactions involving TapiocaDAO have been flagged. The deployer's address may have been compromised, with ownership of the associated contract changed. Hackers have withdrawn approximately 21 million TAP tokens via an emergency rescue function, exchanging all tokens for 591 ETH, causing TAP to drop by 93%. The suspicious address subsequently bridged the funds using Stargate.
