TechFlow News: Space Nation has announced that its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Space Nation Online, has entered a 12-week soft launch phase. Built on blockchain technology, the game aims to become the centerpiece of an expanding sci-fi intellectual property (IP), with the goal of creating the next "Star Wars"-level franchise.
The game is built on Immutable zkEVM, an Ethereum scaling network, and plans to globally release to Web2 audiences in the future.
Players can choose between traditional gameplay or participate in a "play-to-earn" model—for example, miners can collect minerals and sell them to other players, earning CHR, an in-game currency that can be exchanged for fiat money.
