TechFlow reported on August 27 that cryptocurrency data aggregation platform CoinGecko released a report showing the PolitiFi sector surged 782.4% from January 1 to August 25, 2024, far outpacing the 90.2% gain of the Meme coin sector during the same period. Despite the strong performance of the PolitiFi sector, its market capitalization remains significantly smaller than that of Meme coins. As of August 25, the PolitiFi sector had a market cap of $680.8 million, representing just 1.5% of the Meme coin sector's total market cap of $45.6 billion.
