TechFlow News, Meson Network CEO Sherlock Shi responded to OKX's latest decision, stating that although OKX's decision is disappointing, the company will continue striving toward its goals and comply with OKX's requirements. He clarified several key aspects of the company:
-
Meson Network's core business is operating a bandwidth marketplace, providing dynamic/static IP proxy services for customers requiring proxy solutions;
-
The company's customers primarily come from the internet sector, whose demand is not easily affected by token prices;
-
The token model was adopted to offer a smoother user experience and more convenient resource access;
-
The company is developing its own public blockchain to meet market demands.
-
Shi also mentioned that the company has achieved product-market fit with its residential IP-based products and will focus on increasing node count and scaling revenue from these products.
In addition, they plan to launch their own chain (Epic: Meson-3.0). Reflecting on his seven years in the crypto industry, Shi said that despite price challenges, staying committed to one's beliefs and persevering can overcome any difficulty.
