TechFlow news — U.S. officials told Politico that Iran may be reconsidering its plans for a multi-pronged attack on Israel.
In recent days, the Biden administration has worked through diplomatic channels to send messages to Tehran via various means, urging Iran to reassess its plans for a military strike against Israel if the explosion that killed Haniyeh did not result in any Iranian civilian casualties.
U.S. officials said they still expect Iran to respond in some way to Haniyeh's killing, but Tehran appears to have adjusted its stance, and the U.S. does not believe Iran will launch an immediate attack on Israel.
