TechFlow reports that Fantom announced this morning its official rebranding to Sonic Labs. The project will launch the Sonic Labs brand across all platforms, with the new Sonic Labs website now live in preparation for the upcoming release of Sonic.
Sonic is described as the fastest EVM chain and will provide a secure gateway to Ethereum.
As the launch date for Sonic approaches, the team says it will provide users, developers, stakers, and validators with further guidance on migrating to the new chain. Notably, Sonic Labs stated it will continue supporting the existing Opera chain.
