TechFlow reported on August 1 that, according to PeckShield monitoring, the DeFi protocol Convergence was attacked and suffered losses of approximately $210,000. The hacker exploited a vulnerability in the CvxRewardDistributor contract to mint around 58 million CVG tokens, which were then swapped for 60 WETH and 15,900 crvFRAX. The vulnerability originated from the contract's failure to validate untrusted user inputs, allowing malicious operations.
