TechFlow reports that Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey plans to raise $15 million for former U.S. President Donald Trump's re-election campaign later this month.
The fundraising event is expected to take place at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville or shortly thereafter. Notably, during his presidency from 2017 to 2021, Trump referred to cryptocurrency as "not money" and "based on thin air," but after announcing his re-election bid in 2022, he shifted strategy, stating his campaign would accept crypto donations and pledging to have all remaining Bitcoin mined in the United States.
