TechFlow news, according to statistics from Viee, a core contributor at Biteye, Memecoins became the most profitable crypto sector in the first half of 2024, with an average return rate of 1834.22%. Among them, Brett (BRETT) delivered the highest return, surging 14,353.54% from its issuance price.
The RWA (real-world assets) sector followed closely, achieving a return rate of 213.5%. The AI sector recorded a return rate of 71.6%, while DePIN and Layer 1 achieved returns of 58.7% and 43.0%, respectively. In contrast, GameFi and DeFi sectors performed relatively weakly. The Layer 2 sector performed the worst, with an average return rate of -40.59%.
