TechFlow reports that Web3 metaverse game Illuvium has announced the largest GameFi token airdrop in history, totaling $25 million worth of 250,000 ILV tokens. Among these, 50,000 tokens will reward loyal users, while the remaining 200,000 tokens will be distributed through a six-month "play-to-earn airdrop" campaign.
The loyalty airdrop targets users who have been active within the Illuvium ecosystem over the past three years, including those participating in staking, providing liquidity, purchasing land, and trading NFTs, with distribution scheduled for Q2 2024. The first batch of 20,000 ILV tokens will be distributed during the beta test at the end of April. The game plans to launch its public test by the end of May, followed by the gradual release of 180,000 ILV tokens over the subsequent five months.
