TechFlow news: Uniswap has proposed a change to the owner of the Uniswap V3 Factory to allow the DAO to modify the fee mechanism.
If this proposal passes, a setOwner() function will be added to the V3FactoryOwner.sol contract. The inclusion of the setOwner() function in the V3FactoryOwner.sol contract is necessary should delegates wish to transition to a new system due to potential inefficiencies in the current system, similar to the upgrade currently proposed by the Uniswap Foundation.
Currently, the proposal has a rejection rate of 59.9%.
