TechFlow reports that on January 11, Singapore-based AAA gaming studio Skyark Studio announced the completion of a $15 million funding round. The financing was led by Binance Labs, with participation from over 40 institutions including VividThree, a Singapore-listed company, GuildFi, Jambo, and BreederDAO, as well as individual investors such as LayerZero CEO Brian Pellegrino, Tangent Ventures Co-Founder Wangarian, and Story Protocol CEO Lee Seung Yoon.
According to available information, Skyark has achieved over 1 million daily on-chain interactions on opBNB. Since launching its free Slime NFT, the number of holding addresses has reached 230,000. Skyark Studio's vision is to build a SkyArk Universe platform offering interoperable NFTs and games powered by LayerZero technology, aiming to make gaming enjoyable and sustainably engaging for players.
As previously announced on Twitter, Skyark is also preparing to launch its first NFT on Ethereum, with further details to be revealed.
