TechFlow news: Kyber Network announced on X that the KyberSwap team has contacted the owner of frontrun bots who withdrew approximately $5.7 million from KyberSwap liquidity pools on Polygon and Avalanche. After negotiation, the frontrun bot owner has agreed to return 90% of the user funds to a designated address. In return, they will receive a 10% bounty.
To date, funds worth approximately $4.67 million have been returned to KyberSwap's deployment addresses, including 813,198.63 dBSGG (about $813,200), 361.92 axl-wstETH (about $870,500), 441.8 WETH (about $919,000), 261.5 wstETH (about $624,000), 711,430.9 WMATIC (about $547,800), 443,011.6 USDT (about $443,000), 385,630.7 USDC (about $385,600), and 65,130 USDT (about $65,100).
KyberSwap stated it will continue supporting law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity experts in recovering the remaining user funds from the hackers.
