TechFlow reports, according to CCTV4 Chinese International, Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau recently cracked a power theft case. The main suspect is the owner of a cosmetic medical clinic who used cryptocurrency mining to make money. The suspect set up eight so-called "mining farms" across Taichung, all powered by stolen electricity, causing losses exceeding 76 million New Taiwan dollars to Taiwan Power Company within a year.
